About the opportunity: The BFCN Scholarships and Awards were created to recognize outstanding Black students with bright futures as upcoming leaders and dreamers in their communities.The Aim 2 Achieve Award will recognize Black students who are celebrating achievement after facing adversity. This year BFCN will be awarding two Aim 2 Achieve awards.

Amount: $1,000

Deadline: July 31st, 2026

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Black student

  • Must be graduating high school or CEGEP in June 2026 and attending an accredited Canadian post-

  • secondary institution in September 2026 to pursue undergraduate education on a full-time or part-time basis

  • Must demonstrate perseverance and dedication that has led to an achievement
