We partnered with Toronto Tech Fest & friends for the #GivebackGala on November 26th at Aradia Earth, bringing together Toronto’s Tech Community for an immersive and fun end-of-the-year celebration, all while giving back to impactful organizations like Rise In STEM. 

This 3-part workshop serieswas created to connect young people with opportunities to build skills and knowledge to excel in careers in the technology sector and accomplish daily goals.

In Summer 2024 Rise in STEM collaborated with Delta Family Resource Centre to bring a dynamic summer experience.

In 2024, we started conducting weekly 1-on-1 math and science tutoring sessions and monthly workshops prepping students for post-secondary school. This pilot program ran form May to June 2024.

In 2021 we introduced the Youth Action Committee, consisting of 9 youth leaders across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Since then, they have developed campaigns and curated several events to enhance wellness and support youth leadership development. Use the buttons below to review their work.

This year, for our annual Rise Up program we partnered with The Wealthsimple Foundation and McMaster Venture Academy to teach youth critical skills in financial literacy and introduced them to the field of engineering.

Thanks to contributions from our supporters, we were able to provide a $500 scholarship to a student pursuing STEM.

As part of our 2020-21 Mentorship Program, youth participants explored and learned about various underrepresented STEM inventors and icons. Their projects highlight the many people who have contributed to our society and that often go unnoticed.
